Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SRK Recon AI (the "Service"), provided by SRK Analytics & Consulting Pvt Ltd ("SRK Analytics", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SRK Recon AI matches your Purchase Register against your GSTR-2B, explains mismatches, and provides exception-workflow and audit-trail tooling for GST reconciliation. The Service also includes an AI Assistant that answers GST and Income Tax questions, retrieving supporting evidence from SCIC (SRK Compliance Intelligence Cloud, a separate SRK product) -- see Section 8 for the limitations of this feature. The Service is provided on a subscription basis as described on our Pricing page.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or as a CA firm managing multiple clients, you confirm you have the authority to do so and to upload the relevant data for each workspace you create.

3. Plans and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Razorpay. Available plans are Starter (single GSTIN), Professional (for growing businesses and CA firms managing multiple clients), and Enterprise (custom pricing for multi-entity businesses and larger CA practices), as described on the Pricing page. Annual billing is not currently available. You may upgrade your plan at any time; downgrades require your active GSTIN usage to fit within the target plan's limits.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future billing; your plan and access remain active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. See our Refund & Cancellation page for full details.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you upload to the Service, including your Purchase Register, GSTR-2B, and related reconciliation data. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to upload data you do not have the right to process;
• attempt to access another customer's workspace or data without authorization;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and features may be updated, added, or changed over time.

8. Disclaimer

The Service assists with GST reconciliation but does not constitute legal, tax, or professional advice, and does not replace the judgment of a qualified tax professional. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your GST filings and compliance decisions.

The AI Assistant and the SCIC-sourced intelligence it relies on are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for any government department. SCIC's GST classification and rate intelligence is sourced from official government data; its Income Tax knowledge base covers current and historical law, rules, and the 1961→2025 crosswalk, but its coverage of circulars, forms, and case law is still expanding and is not exhaustive. Where SCIC does not have sufficient governed evidence to answer a question, the AI Assistant will say so rather than guess. AI-generated responses may still be incomplete or contain errors and must be independently verified before being relied upon for a filing, notice reply, or other compliance decision.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SRK Analytics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms and do not cure the breach within a reasonable time after notice, or where required by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
