Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SRK Analytics & Consulting Pvt Ltd ("SRK Analytics", "we", "us", or "our"), operator of SRK Recon AI (the "Service"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and the business or company details you provide to set up your workspace.

Reconciliation data. When you use the Service, you upload documents such as your Purchase Register and GSTR-2B. This data may include vendor names, GSTINs, invoice numbers, and transaction values. This data is processed solely to perform the reconciliation and related features you request, and is scoped to your workspace.

Billing information. Subscription billing is processed by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, or bank account credentials -- these are handled directly by Razorpay under its own security standards and privacy practices.

Cookies and session data. We use cookies or equivalent mechanisms necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. We may also collect basic technical information (such as browser type and access times) to maintain and secure the Service.

AI Assistant queries. If you use the AI Assistant feature, the question you ask is used to retrieve supporting compliance evidence from SCIC (SRK Compliance Intelligence Cloud, a separate SRK product) and, where an AI provider is configured, may be processed by that provider to generate a response. SCIC receives only the text of your question for this retrieval -- never your account, reconciliation, or billing data -- and does not receive access to your workspace.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including reconciliation, exception workflows, and reporting features you use.
• To process subscription payments and manage your plan via Razorpay.
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, or support requests.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and audit trail of the Service.
• To retrieve supporting evidence for AI Assistant questions, and generate a response where an AI provider is configured.
• To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Workspace isolation

Your reconciliation data is isolated to your workspace. It is not shared with, or matched against, any other customer's account. If you operate multiple client workspaces (for example, as a CA firm), each client's data is kept separate within the Service.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal or reconciliation data. We share information only with:

• Razorpay, to process your subscription payments;
• SCIC (SRK Compliance Intelligence Cloud), a separate SRK product, which receives only the text of your AI Assistant question, to retrieve supporting evidence -- never sent your account, reconciliation, or billing data;
• an AI provider, where one is configured, to generate a response to your AI Assistant question;
• infrastructure and hosting providers who process data on our behalf to operate the Service;
• authorities, where required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and reconciliation data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to comply with legal, tax, or audit obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the details below. If you believe your information has been used inconsistently with this Policy, you may also raise this with us directly.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and workspace-level data isolation to protect your information. See our Security page for more detail. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
